Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Frostle desktop application and related services (“Frostle”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using Frostle you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Frostle.
1. The service
Frostle lets you capture a region of your screen and receive AI-generated responses (summaries, translations, extracted data, research, answers, and voice transcription). Responses are produced by third-party AI providers and may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it.
2. Accounts
Hosted Free and Pro tiers require signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may instead use Frostle with your own API keys, in which case no Frostle account is required.
3. Plans, billing & fair use
- • Free includes a limited number of AI actions per day. Limits may change.
- • Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually through our payment processor (Stripe). Pro is intended for normal individual use and is subject to a fair-use ceiling to prevent abuse.
- • Bring-your-own-key usage is billed by your AI provider directly; we do not bill for it.
- • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Frostle to break the law, infringe others’ rights, capture content you have no right to process, attempt to overload or reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent usage limits. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the screenshots, text, and audio you submit and of the outputs you receive. To provide responses, the content you capture is transmitted to our AI providers (Anthropic and Groq). See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Third-party services
Frostle relies on third parties including Anthropic (Claude), Groq, Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). Your use of those features is also subject to their respective terms.
7. Disclaimers & liability
Frostle is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes & termination
We may update Frostle and these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. You may stop using Frostle at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
9. Contact
