Terms of Service

1. The service

Frostle lets you capture a region of your screen and receive AI-generated responses (summaries, translations, extracted data, research, answers, and voice transcription). Responses are produced by third-party AI providers and may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it.

2. No account

Frostle does not require an account. You supply your own API key from a third-party AI provider, and the app calls that provider directly using it. You are responsible for keeping your key secure and for any activity carried out with it.

3. Price & provider costs

• • Frostle itself is free. We do not charge you, take payment details, or operate subscriptions.
• • All AI usage is billed to you by your own AI provider under your agreement with them. You are solely responsible for those charges and for staying within any limits on your provider account.
• • Because the software is provided free of charge, it is offered as-is, without any service-level commitment, and may change or be discontinued at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Frostle to break the law, infringe others’ rights, capture content you have no right to process, or in any way that violates the terms of the AI provider whose key you supply.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the screenshots, text, and audio you submit and of the outputs you receive. To provide responses, the content you capture is transmitted to our AI providers (Anthropic and Groq). See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Third-party services

Frostle relies on third parties including Anthropic (Claude), Groq, Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). Your use of those features is also subject to their respective terms.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Frostle is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes & termination

We may update Frostle and these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. You may stop using Frostle at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
